Artemis was the Greek moon goddess of the wilderness, wild animals and the hunt. Independent and free, her realm was the natural world, the woodlands and mountains where she would hunt with silver arrows in the company of her nymphs. An ancient and powerful goddess, Artemis was often celebrated on days with a full moon, where she was called upon to protect women in childbirth and the young. In some places, whole cities believed their fate lay in Artemis’ hands and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world was a temple built in her honour.
The Artemis collection is inspired by her history and myths. Her symbol is the full moon and she represents independence and strength.
