Medusa has been a compelling feminine force since her very beginnings, which go back many thousands of years. Before being transformed into a monster by the ancient Greeks, Medusa wore a crown of snakes in her hair and was worshipped as a powerful goddess, associated with death, rebirth and protection. Though her stories were changed and Medusa became feared, she remained a guardian figure through the imagery of her snaked gorgon head, used to ward off evil. Over time and cultural landscapes Medusa has been interpreted in many different ways, but her spirit has always been fierce.
The Medusa Collection is inspired by her history and myths. Her symbol is the snake and she represents feminine power and transformation.
